Gold, silver futures rise in early trade

Gold and silver futures gained in early trade on Thursday. December 2012 gold futures at the MCX were trading up 0.12% at Rs 31,178 per 10 grams at 10.15 a.m. after hitting high of Rs 31,190. It opened at Rs 31,171.

Meanwhile, December 2012 silver futures were trading higher 0.05% at Rs 60,604 per kg at 10.12 a.m. after hitting high of Rs 60,675. It opened at Rs 60,592 at the MCX.
