Gold futures declined in early trade on Monday. December 2012 gold futures at the MCX were trading down 0.17% at Rs 31,782 per 10 grams at 10.07 a.m. after hitting high of Rs 31,804. It opened at Rs 31,783.

Meanwhile, December 2012 silver futures were trading lower 0.39% at Rs 62,655 per kg at 10.07 a.m. after hitting high of Rs 62,739. It opened at Rs 62,599 at the MCX.
