Bharat Bhushan Share and Commodity Brokers announced a phenomenal rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2009. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 51.28% to Rs 0.59 million from Rs 0.39 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter for the quarter rose 16.36% to Rs 1.28 million, while total income for the quarter rose 12.24% to Rs 1.65 million, when compared with the prior year period.
It posted earnings of Rs 0.17 a share during the quarter, registering 41.67% growth over previous year period.

Shares of the company declined Rs 0.51, or 4.71%, to trade at Rs 10.31. The total volume of shares traded was 5,459 at the BSE (2.33 p.m., Tuesday).
