Drug maker, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals has got an approval from United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for Ciclopirox cream. The said drug would be available in the strength of 0.77%.

Ciclopirox Cream is used for treating fungal and yeast infections of the skin, including athlete`s foot, jock itch, and ringworm. This medicine is an antifungal. It works by slowing the growth of the fungus.

Shares of the company declined Rs 0.15, or 0.07%, to settle at Rs 222.20. The total volume of shares traded was 74,016 at the BSE (Friday).
