Kpit Cummins Infosystems, a global IT consulting organization focused on the automotive and semiconductor sectors, today announced that its directors have approved 100% investment in the shares of Sparta Consulting, USA (Sparta) through KPIT Infosystems.

KPIT Infosystems is a wholly owned subsidiary of  Kpit Cummins.

The aforesaid investment would be made for a consideration up to USD 38 million to be a paid over a period of three and a half years and approval of the definitive agreements.

Kpit Cummins Infosystems provides technology solutions to global clients across domains such as advanced technology solutions (ATS), diversified financial services (DFS), manufacturing and business IT with a relationship-based focused business model.

Shares of Kpit Cummins Infosystems gained Rs 3.85, or 4.99%, to trade at Rs 80.95. The total volume of shares traded was 59,662  at the BSE (11.25 a.m., Friday).
