RBI auctions 91-day T-bills on Nov 5

RBI auctioned 91-day Treasury Bills (T-Bills) today, November 5. The notified amount for the auction was Rs 50 billion. The multiple price-based auctions for the bills remained oversubscribed. RBI received 122 competitive bids worth Rs 127.33 billion for the bills. However, it accepted only 61 bids for the notified amount.

The cut-off price determined at Rs 98.19 offered ytm (yield to maturity) of 7.39%.

The weighted average price worked out to Rs 98.21 while the partial allotment percentage of competitive bids was 19.14 from 16 bids.

However, the apex bank received 1 non-competitive bid worth Rs 1.41 billion for the bills.
