RBI auctions 364-day T-bills on Nov 5

RBI auctioned 364-day Treasury Bills (T-Bills) today, November 5. The notified amount for the auction was Rs 20 billion. The multiple price-based auctions for the bills remained oversubscribed. RBI received 82 competitive bids worth Rs 53.10 billion for the bills. However, it accepted only 16 bids for the notified amount.

The cut-off price determined at Rs 93.15 offered ytm (yield to maturity) of 7.37%.

The weighted average price worked out to Rs 93.22 while the partial allotment percentage of competitive bids was 55.95 from 4 bids.

However, the apex bank did not receive non-competitive bid for the bills.
