RBI auctions 7.95% G-Sec, 2032 (Re-issue) on Oct 31

RBI auctioned 7.95% Government Stock (G-Sec), 2032 (Re-issue) today, October 31. The underwriting notified amount for the auction was Rs 40 billion. The multiple price-based auctions for the bills remained oversubscribed. RBI received 228 competitive bids worth Rs 75.11 billion for the bills. However, it accepted only 156 bids for the notified amount.

The cut-off yield determined at Rs 98.62 offered ytm (yield to maturity) of 8.08%.
 
The weighted average price worked out to Rs 99.14. While the partial allotment percentage of competitive bids was 98.48 from 3 bids.

The apex bank received 5 non-competitive bids worth Rs 80 million for the 7.95% Government Stock, 2032 (Re-issue).
