Rupee depreciates 0.39% to 46.43 vs dollar

The Reserve Bank of India`s reference rate for the rupee depreciated 0.39% versus US dollar to 46.43 on September 26, as compared to that of the previous working day`s  46.25 (September 25).

While, rupee appreciated 0.23% to 67.95 against the Euro on September 26, compared with 68.11 on September 25.

As illustrated in the table below, the rupee appreciated 0.62% versus the Great Britain Pound at 85.39 as against 85.92 on the previous working day, while it depreciated 0.23% versus 100 Japanese Yen at 43.85, as against 43.75 on the previous working day.

Note : The reference rate is based on 12 noon rates of a few select banks in Mumbai.
The SDR-Rupee rate will be based on this rate.
