The daily turnover volume at National Commodity and Derivative Exchange (NCDEX), stood at Rs 19.69 billion (one-way) with 467 members (1,698 users) who participated in trading on August 27 up to 5:00 pm.

There were more than 57,808 trades put through by them. Active trades were high in among others Guar Seed, Rape Mustard Seed, Turmeric, Jeera and Soyabean.

On Aug. 26, 2008, 479 members (246 users) participated in trading and put through more than 62,017 trades. The volume for the whole day trading till 11.30 pm was Rs 21.74 billion (one-way). Active trades were high in among others Guar Seed, Rape Mustard Seed, Soyabean, Turmeric and Jeera.
