Anuh Pharma disclosed a phenomenal rise in its standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2008. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 2.46 times to Rs 37.23 million from Rs 15.11 million in the same quarter, last year. 
The company posted earnings of Rs 13.37 a share during the quarter, registering 2.46 times growth over previous year period.
Net sales for the quarter rose 34.95% to Rs 325.02 million, while total income for the quarter rose 31.83% to Rs 326.96 million, when compared with the prior year period.

The board of directors at its meeting held on Aug. 8, 2008 has recommended a dividend of Rs 8 a share on equity share of face value of Rs 5 each.
Shares of the company declined Rs 13.6, or 5.11%, to settle at Rs 252.5. The total volume of shares traded was 1,558 at the BSE (Friday).
