Larsen & Turbro (L&T) has secured an order worth Rs 4.46 billion from JSW Power Transco for evacuation of power from the 1200 MW power project set up by JSW Energy at Ratnagiri in Maharashtra.
 
The New Koyna 400 kv Transmission lines, totaling 169 km, will be executed by the transmission line business unit of ECC – L&T `s construction division.

The scope of works includes survey and supply of all components like transmission line towers, conductors, insulator, hardware accessories and construction. The project is to be completed in 18 months.  

Shares of the company gained Rs 69.4, or 2.92%, to trade at Rs 2449.25. The total volume of shares traded was 169,378 at the BSE (11.32 a.m., Monday).
