Sun Pharma Industries has received final approval from the US Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) to manufacture and market for Quinapril Hydrochloride tablets in strengths of EQ 5mg, EQ 10 mg, EQ 20 mg and EQ 40 mg.

Quinapril hydrochloride tablets are indicated for the treatment of hypertension. They may be used alone or in combination with thiazide diuretics.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.25, or 0.34%, to trade at Rs 74.25. The total volume of shares traded was 72,009 at the BSE (2.46 p.m., Wednesday).
