Phillips Carbon Black announced that a meeting of the board of directors of the company will be held on Apr. 28, 2008, to consider and approve the audited financial results of the company for the financial year ended Mar. 31, 2008 and also to consider recommendation of dividend on the paid up share capital of the company as on  Mar. 31, 2008.

Phillips Carbon manufactures carbon black. The company`s products are primarily used in the elastomer, plastic, paints, and ink manufacturing industries.
    
Shares of the company closed up Rs 0.45, or 0.29%, at Rs 156.60. The total volume of shares traded was 4,360 at the BSE. (Friday)
