Sahara One selects NDTV Media for advertising sales

Sahara One Media & Entertainment (SOMEL) appointed NDTV Media as its exclusive advertising sales partner in India. As part of the agreement, NDTV Media would be responsible for selling airtime for the Sahara One`s bouquet of entertainment channels including – general entertainment channel `Sahara One`, Hindi movie channel `FILMY` and the newly launched FIRANGI channel which is positioned as World Television in Hindi.                   
Seemanto Roy, Head - Sahara Entertainment Business, said, ``by leveraging each other`s inherent strengths and optimizing returns, we hope to take our television business to the next level. This certainly should prove to be a mutually beneficial arrangement.``

Shares of NDTV declined Rs 4.00, or 1.04%, to settle at Rs 382.00. The total volume of shares traded was 3,351 at the BSE (Tuesday).
