Aksh Optifibre, MTNL launch IPTV in Mumbai

Optical cable maker Aksh Optifibre (Q, N,C,F)* and state-run MTNL have jointly launched IPTV - A Tel and Video Phone Calling Services- V Spyk on March 20  in Mumbai. 
  
IPTV stand alone deal is available to subscribers at Rs 1,000 as reimbursable security deposit with six months of subscription free. While, a combo-deal of IPTV and Video Phone Calling Services will come at a price of Rs 1,460 in which the subscribers will get set up box and one year of free subscription, with access to 100 channels at no additional costs.

RSP Sinha, CMD, MTNL, said, ``Consumers expect services that are both innovative and affordable from MTNL. With the endless possibilities available with IPTV, and Video Phone Calling services, the expectations will be fulfilled. MTNL has tied up with Aksh for the achievement of such targets and objectives for providing the best services for optimum consumer satisfaction.``

Shares of Aksh Optifibre declined Rs 1.55, or 3.66%, to close at Rs 40.85. The total volume of shares traded was 43,666 at the BSE. (Wednesday)
