Helion Venture winds-up its second fund worth USD 210 mn

Helion Venture Partners, an India-focused venture fund, closed its second fund of USD 210 million, reports Business Standard.

The company raised its first fund of USD 140 million during late 2006.

Helion will now expand its focus sectors to include companies in sectors like retail services, education and financial services.
 
Since its launch in 2006, Helion invested in 11 companies including JiGrahak, makemytrip.com, UnitedLex, Gridstone, Anantara, Zmanda, Kirusa, Komli, Hurix, Amba Research and Mindworks Global Media Service.
