Debt moves up
Agilent Technologies, Inc. has witnessed an increase in total debt over the last one year. It stood at $1,992 million as on Jan. 31, 2017, up 14.95 percent or $259 million from $1,733 million on Jan. 31, 2016. Total debt was 25.30 percent of total assets as on Jan. 31, 2017, compared with 23.73 percent on Jan. 31, 2016. Debt to equity ratio was at 0.46 as on Jan. 31, 2017, up from 0.43 as on Jan. 31, 2016. Interest coverage ratio improved to 10.30 for the quarter from 8.61 for the same period last year.
