Transformers and Rectifiers (India), leading transformer manufacturing companies in India, has entered into the technology license agreement with Fuji Electrical, Japan, a leading manufacturer of power transmission and distribution equipment.
As a part of this technology license agreement, Fuji grants the license to TRIL in India to use its technology and know-how; to design, manufacture, assemble, inspect and sale of generator step up transformers with single phase or three phase, 420 kv voltage and upto 1000 MVA bank capacity; shunt reactors with three phase 420 kv voltage and upto 125 MV Ar capacity; shunt reactor with single phase, 765 kv voltage and upto 133 MV Ar capacity.
Shares of the company gained Rs 18.7, or 10.85%, to trade at Rs 191. The total volume of shares traded was 8,374 at the BSE (10.36 a.m., Thursday).
