Transformers & Rectifiers India has been awarded the order for 53 numbers of transformers amounting to Rs 1.26 billion from U.P. Power Transmission Corporation. With this order, the company's order book as on date stands around Rs 10.30 billion.

Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 24.87% to 871,040 compared with 22-day average volume of 1,159,403.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.6, or 1.48%, to settle at Rs 41.05. The total volume of shares traded was 186,469 at the BSE (Wednesday).
