Suven Life Sciences announces today that the grant of one product patent from Mexico and one product patent from New Zealand corresponding to the New Chemical Entities for the treatment of disorders associated with Neurodegenerative diseases and patents are valid through 2030 and 2036 respectively.
The granted claims of the patents include the class of selective H3 and 5-HT4 compounds respectively and are being developed as therapeutic agents for neurodegenerative disorders such as for the treatment of cognitive impairment associated with neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer’s disease, Attention deficient hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Huntington’s disease, Parkinson and Schizophrenia and sleep disorders like Narcolepsy etc.

Shares of the company gained Rs 2.4, or 1.07%, to trade at Rs 227.50. The total volume of shares traded was 34,167 at the BSE (11.31 a.m., Tuesday).
