NHPC announced that a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) in respect of Kishanganga HE Project (3X110MW) has been signed on June 22, 2018 with U.P. Power Corporation (UPPCL) for a period of 35 years from the date of commercial operation (COD) of last unit of the above Project.

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till Jun. 22, 2018, falling 4.03% compared with the Sensex's 3.00% rise. It underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 5.12% as against 8.13% rise in the Sensex. 

Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 15.49% to 4,551,993 compared with 22-day average volume of 5,386,508.

Shares of the company declined Rs 0.4, or 1.6%, to settle at Rs 24.55. The total volume of shares traded was 206,096 at the BSE (Monday).
