National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC), announced that the company has secured total business amounting Rs 25.25 billion in the month of January 2016.

The company said, "The company secured project management consultancy work (PMC) worth Rs 24.58 billion and engineering procurement & construction work (EPC) worth Rs 669.80 million."

Earlier in Jan, NBCC bagged a work order worth Rs 21.49 billion from India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) for re-development of Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.

Shares of the company gained Rs 4.9, or 0.52%, to settle at Rs 946.90.

Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 35.92% to 131,870 compared with 22-day average volume of 205,775.
