MEP Infrastructure Developers has received the Letter of Intent (LoI) from Office of the Director Local Bodies(Toll Tax Department) informing that the company has been engaged as the contractor for SDMC (Lead Corporation acting on behalf of all the three Corporations) for Toll & Environment Compensation Charge (ECC) collection at Border Points from Specified Commercial Vehicles entering Delhi.
The LoI is for Toll & Environment Compensation Charges collection rights at all entry points to Delhi. The period of contract is for 5 years and the operations will commence after complying with the statutory formalities viz. submission of Performance Security, signing of Contract as stated in the LOI. The contractual amount for the said Project is Rs 12.06 billion per annum payable to SDMC on a weekly basis.
Shares of the company gained Rs 115, or 0%, to trade at Rs 115.00. The total volume of shares traded was 108,525 at the BSE (10.52 a.m., Wednesday).
