Maruti Suzuki India, the largest passenger cars maker in India, today announced a sold 126,569 units in April 2016, which was 13.3% higher compared with 111,748 units in April 2015.
The company's domestic sales during the month stood at 117,045 units, compared with 100,709 units in April last year, representing a rise of 16.2%.
The company exported 9,524 vehicles in April 2016, which was 13.7% lower compared with 11,039 units sold in April 2015.
Shares of the company gained Rs 17.65, or 0.47%, to trade at Rs 3,812.60. The total volume of shares traded was 54,170 at the BSE (12.38 p.m., Monday).
