Car market leader Maruti Suzuki India announced a growth of 1.8% in sales volume to 114,756 units in June, 2015 compared with 112,773 units sold in June.
It exported 12,130 vehicles, which was 2.7% higher compared with 11,809 units in the same month last year.
Domestic sales during the month stood at 102,626 units, compared with 100,964 units in June last year, representing a rise of 1.6%.
Shares of the company gained Rs 30.95, or 0.77%, to trade at Rs 4,053.65. The total volume of shares traded was 11,564 at the BSE (10.33 a.m., Wednesday).
