Lupin has received notification that the inspection carried out by the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) in April 2017 at its Aurangabad facility is now closed and the agency has issued an Establishment Inspection Report (EIR).

This closes all outstanding USFDA inspections at Lupin's Aurangabad facility.

Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 69.96% to 779,836 compared with 22-day average volume of 2,595,930.

Shares of the company gained Rs 17.2, or 1.86%, to trade at Rs 940.00. The total volume of shares traded was 46,633 at the BSE (9.49 a.m., Tuesday).
