Ircon International, is an engineering and construction company, has won a bid to set-up 500 MW solar power plant through e-Reverse auction with a Viability Gap Funding (VGF) of Rs.2,247 million under CPSU Scheme-II floated by Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA). The approximate cost of the project is Rs.24,000 million. Shares of the company gained Rs 1.25, or 2.81%, to settle at Rs 45.80. The total volume of shares traded was 1,024,384 at the BSE (Friday). The scrip has touched an intraday high of Rs 46.60 and low of Rs 44.60.
