Gujarat Automotive Gears (GACL) has entered a new line of business i.e wheel bolts and hub bolts for European Truck application and have started getting orders from Italy and Germany.

GACL expects to do substantial business in this segment in the current calendar year. The company has been able to increase its product portfolio with a Belgium customer and now has a product range of 800 odd components from them. GACL has added a new customer in UAE who are large distributors of truck parts all over Middle East.   

Shares of the company gained Rs 7.8, or 2.28%, to trade at Rs 349.70. The total volume of shares traded was 23,365 at the BSE (10.20 a.m., Tuesday).
