Chartered Logistics, engaged in logistics business, swung to a net loss for the quarter ended September 2020. The company has made a standalone net loss of Rs. 4.20 million in the quarter, against a net profit of Rs. 4.97 million in the same period last fiscal.
The company's revenue witnessed a fall of 8.53% to Rs 319.85 million in the quarter ended September 2020 as against Rs. 349.67 million during the previous quarter ended September 2019.
Total expenses fell by 5.99% to Rs. 324.05 million in the quarter ended September 2020 as against Rs 344.69 million in the same quarter last fiscal.
Chartered Logistics EPS reported a loss of Rs 0.04 in September 2020 against profit of Rs 0.05 in September 2019.
Chartered Logistics, engaged in logistics business on Monday announced that it has transferred a total of 7,12,578 equity shares to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF). The actual date of transfer to IEPF is Nov.19, 2020. The company has already complied with the ROC form/compliance as necessary, the logistic company said.
Shares of the company gained Rs 0.31, or 10.37%, to trade at Rs 3.30. The total volume of shares traded was 97,488 at the BSE (12.20 p.m., Tuesday).
