BGR Energy bags orders worth Rs 3 bn

BGR Energy Systems, an EPC company, has received new order worth Rs 3 billion in the electrical sub stations segment through its electrical projects division.

The company has secured two substation contracts from state utility Transmission Corporation of Telangana  (TSTRANSCO) for construction of 400/220 kV substations in Khammam district and Adilabad district on turnkey basis in Telangana state.

Besides, BGR Energy has also secured the order for electrical equipment supply and erection package for TANDA thermal power project stage-II of NTPC in Uttar Pradesh on turnkey basis.

The company expects these orders to enhance contribution from the construction and EPC contracts segment.

Shares of the company gained Rs 4.4, or 3.96%, to settle at Rs 115.40. The total volume of shares traded was 157,248 at the BSE (Tuesday).
