Ahluwalia Contracts bags orders worth Rs 4.72 bn

Ahluwalia Contracts (India) has secured new orders aggregating to Rs 4.72 billion (approx) for construction of institutional, hospital & residential building, including electrical, plumbing & fire fighting services.

New orders worth of Rs 3.13 billion for construction of residential complex for National Cancer Institute at Jhajjar Haryana, worth Rs 1.15 billion for construction of regional centre for National Security Guard at Kolkata and worth Rs 442.1 million for civil, finishing & plumbing works for Tata Medical Centre at Kolkata.

The total order inflow during the FY 2016- 2017 stands at Rs 9.65 billion.

Shares of the company gained Rs 6.7, or 2.34%, to trade at  Rs 293.00.  The total volume of shares traded  was  11,475 at the BSE (1.59 p.m., Monday).
