US stock markets settled mixed on Wednesday as Wall Street eagerly awaited a vote on the House's health care proposal and monitored oil prices.

NASDAQ 100 index rose 35.02 points or 0.66 percent to close at 5,367.56. The broader S&P 500 index gained 4.43 points or 0.19 percent to end at 2,348.45.

On the other hand, The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 6.71 points or 0.03 percent to settle at 20,661.30.
