US stock markets settled mixed on Thursday after hitting new record highs, as investors digested several key earnings reports.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 32.40 points or 0.16 percent to settle at 20,100.91. NASDAQ 100 index rose 5.45 points or 0.11 percent to close at 5,156.92.

On the other hand, The broader S&P 500 index declined 1.69 points or 0.07 percent to end at 2,296.68.
