US stocks settle higher

US stock markets closed higher on Friday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 11.44 points or 0.05 percent to settle at 20,821.76.

NASDAQ 100 index rose 10.94 points or 0.21 percent to close at 5,343.31. The broader S&P 500 index went up 3.53 points or 0.15 percent to end at 2,367.34.
