US stock markets settled higher on Friday, after a strong US jobs report pointed to further economic growth ahead.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 55.47 points or 0.26 percent to settle at 21,006.94. NASDAQ 100 index gained 19.78 points or 0.35 percent to close at 5,646.09. The broader S&P 500 index add 9.77 points or 0.41 percent to end at 2,399.29.
