Indian equities still trading on a flat note on Monday. At 3.05 p.m., the Sensex was trading up 13.44 points or 0.05% at 26,141.64 with 15 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 16.65 points or 0.21% at 7,959.35 with 25 components gaining.

Major gainers in the 30-share index were I C I C I Bank (2.41%), Infosys (2.02%), Bajaj Auto (1.66%), Mahindra & Mahindra (1.32%), Tata Motors (1.25%), and Maruti Suzuki India (1.14%).

On the other hand, Bharti Airtel (2.24%), Housing Development Finance Corporation (1.98%), Coal India (1.87%), Vedanta (1.80%), Reliance Industries (1.44%), and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (1.34%) were the major losers in the Sensex.

Market breadth was negative with 1,565 advances against 1,017 declines.
