Sensex trades flat in early trade

Indian markets are trading flat in the morning deals on Friday. At 9.25 a.m., the Sensex was trading up 33.70 points or 0.11% at 29,715.47. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading lower by 6.30 points or 0.07% at 8,946.05.

Major gainers in the 30-share index were HDIL, HCL Tech, Adani Enterprises and Unitech. On the other hand, Coal India, Bharti, Dr. Reddy's Lab and ICICI Bank  were the major losers in the Sensex.
