Indian equities continued to rally for the third day on Thursday. At 9.30 a.m, the Sensex was trading up 208.41 points or 0.58% at 35,987.48 with 20 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 54.40 points or 0.51% at 10,792.00 with 30 components gaining.
Biggest gainers in the 30-share index were Tata Motors (2.41%), NTPC (1.49%), Bharti Airtel (1.39%), ITC (1.32%), and State Bank Of India (1.31%).
On the other hand, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (0.07%), Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (0.05%), Tata Consultancy Services (0.03%), and Hero Motocorp (0.01%) were the major losers in the Sensex.
Market breadth was positive with 204 advances against 33 declines.
