Indian markets gained on Tuesday snapping earlier losses. At 9.58 a.m, the Sensex was trading up 49.59 points or 0.15% at 33,967.53. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 21.70 points or 0.21% at 10,443.10.
Biggest gainers in the 30-share index were State Bank Of India (2.65%), Wipro (1.58%), ICICI Bank (1.51%), Axis Bank (1.40%), Dr Reddy'S Laboratories (1.07%) and Hero Motocorp (1.04%).
On the other hand, Tata Consultancy Services (4.75%), Coal India (1.88%), NTPC (1.52%) and Tata Steel (0.72%) were the major losers in the Sensex.
