Indian markets continued to fall for the second day on Tuesday. The Sensex was trading down 106.95 points or 0.40 at 26797.16. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading lower by 29.65 points or 0.36% at 8,113.95 with 24 components falling.

Major losers in the 30-share index were Hindalco Industries (-4.34%), Vedanta (-4.01%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (-3.59%), Tata Steel (-2.81%), Infosys (-2.51%), and Tata Motors (-1.61%) were the biggest losers in the Sensex.

On the other hand, Bajaj Auto (1.85%), Lupin (1.36%), Wipro (0.96%), ITC (0.90%), Coal India (0.90%) and Bharat Heavy Electricals (0.85%) were the biggest gainers.
