European stock markets are trading marginally mixed on Tuesday as US equity futures put in a steady performance after a soft start to the week. Forex moves are muted, while oil prices dip and Treasury yields nudge higher in a session bereft of fresh catalysts.
UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 rose 8.24 points or 0.11 percent to trade at 7,358.36. Germany's benchmark index DAX declined 7.73 points or 0.06 percent to trade at 11,950.67. French benchmark index CAC 40 lost 8.49 points or 0.17 percent to trade at 4,963.70.
On the other hand, Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 declined 2.52 points or 0.07 percent to trade at 3,384.94.
On Monday, European stock markets settled lower. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 declined 15.93 points or 0.47 percent to settle at 3,387.46. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 fell 24.14 points or 0.33 percent to close at 7,350.12.
