European stock markets are trading mixed on Wednesday as investors waited for the first address of President-elect Donald Trump.
Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 lost 2.81 points or 0.08 percent to trade at 3,303.40. French benchmark index CAC 40 declined 5.37 points or 0.11 percent to trade at 4,882.86.
On the other hand, UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 gained 13.17 points or 0.18 percent to trade at 7,288.64. Germany's benchmark index DAX gained 2.38 points or 0.02 percent to trade at 11,585.68.
On Tuesday, European stock markets closed higher. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 rose 37.70 points or 0.52 percent to close at 7,275.47. Germany's benchmark index DAX rose 19.31 points or 0.17 percent to end at 11,583.30. French benchmark index CAC 40 gained 0.66 points or 0.01 percent to end at 4,888.23.
