European stock markets are trading mixed on Thursday amid a modest pullback in global equities and a softer U.S. dollar.
Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 went up 0.87 points or 0.03 percent to trade at 3,271.62. French benchmark index CAC 40 rose 2.46 points or 0.05 percent to trade at 4,836.28.
On the other hand, UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 declined 4.55 points or 0.06 percent to trade at 7,036.87. Germany's benchmark index DAX fell 2.96 points or 0.03 percent to trade at 11,465.68.
On Wednesday, European stock markets closed lower. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 fell 8.66 points or 0.26 percent to settle at 3,270.75. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 declined 2.54 points or 0.04 percent to close at 7,041.42.
