European stock markets are trading mixed on Friday as rising U.S. bond yields pushed the dollar to a more than 13-and-a-half-year high as investors upped bets on a December rate hike.
Germany's benchmark index DAX went up 26.48 points or 0.25 percent to trade at 10,712.02. French benchmark index CAC 40 rose 5.19 points or 0.11 percent to trade at 4,532.96.
On the other hand, Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 declined 1.85 points or 0.06 percent to trade at 3,039.94. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 lost 42.43 points or 0.62 percent to trade at 6,752.28.
On Thursday, European stock markets settled higher. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 went up 15.43 points or 0.51 percent to settle at 3,041.79. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 gained 44.99 points or 0.67 percent to close at 6,794.71.
