European stock markets are trading lower on Monday, after capping their best weekly gain since December, as mining shares dropped with copper prices and Deutsche Bank AG helped drag lenders lower.
Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 fell 8.01 points or 0.24 percent to trade at 3,376.70. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 lost 26.63 points or 0.36 percent to trade at 7,355.72.
Meanwhile, Germany's benchmark index DAX declined 56.78 points or 0.47 percent to trade at 12,002.79. French benchmark index CAC 40 lost 10.14 points or 0.2 percent to trade at 4,953.66.
