European stock markets are trading lower on Thursday as investors react to a slide in the U.S. dollar.
Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 fell 19.94 points or 0.6 percent to trade at 3,288.00. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 lost 19.72 points or 0.27 percent to trade at 7,270.77.
Meanwhile, Germany's benchmark index DAX lost 69.38 points or 0.6 percent to trade at 11,576.79. French benchmark index CAC 40 lost 28.21 points or 0.58 percent to trade at 4,860.50.
On Wednesday, European stock markets closed higher. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 went up 1.73 points or 0.05 percent to settle at 3,307.94. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 went up 15.02 points or 0.21 percent to close at 7,290.49.
