European stock markets are trading lower on Friday as investors re-set assumptions equity market performance amid a two-day pullback in the U.S. dollar and increasing questions over the recent 'Trump Rally'.
Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 lost 8.48 points or 0.26 percent to trade at 3,307.99. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 fell 11.39 points or 0.16 percent to trade at 7,183.92. French benchmark index CAC 40 declined 17.37 points or 0.35 percent to trade at 4,883.27.
On the other hand, Germany's benchmark index DAX went up 0.63 points or 0.01 percent to trade at 11,584.94.
On Thursday, European stock markets settled higher. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 gained 5.57 points or 0.08 percent to close at 7,195.31. Germany's benchmark index DAX gained 0.63 points or 0.01 percent to end at 11,584.94. French benchmark index CAC 40 rose 1.24 points or 0.03 percent to end at 4,900.64.
