European stock markets are trading lower on Thursday. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 lost 16.92 points or 0.52 percent to trade at 3,261.80.

UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 lost 17.19 points or 0.24 percent to trade at 7,088.89. French benchmark index CAC 40 fell 23.31 points or 0.48 percent to trade at 4,824.70.

On the other hand, Germany's benchmark index DAX went up 2.75 points or 0.02 percent to trade at 11,474.99.
 
On Wednesday, European stock markets closed higher. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 rose 0.19 points or 0.01 percent to settle at 3,278.72. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 gained 37.91 points or 0.54 percent to close at 7,106.08. Germany's benchmark index DAX gained 2.75 points or 0.02 percent to end at 11,474.99.
