European stock markets are trading higher on Wednesday, following a stronger Asia session, even as political risk concerns linger over asset prices in the region.
Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 went up 13.08 points or 0.4 percent to trade at 3,248.79. Germany's benchmark index DAX went up 39.60 points or 0.34 percent to trade at 11,549.44. French benchmark index CAC 40 rose 20.46 points or 0.43 percent to trade at 4,774.93.
On the other hand, UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 declined 0.81 points or 0.01 percent to trade at 7,185.41.
On Tuesday, European stock markets settled mixed. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 went up 14.07 points or 0.2 percent to close at 7,186.22. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 declined 2.60 points or 0.08 percent to settle at 3,235.71.
